“Mom Surprises Everyone by the Pool – See What Happens When She Stands Up”

There are tall women… and then there is Caroline Arthur, a mom from Melbourne, Australia, who could literally be a record breaker for her long legs. The former model is so tall, in fact, she’s been called a “human skyscraper” by her own children. She’s 6 feet 2 inches tall, with her legs occupying 69% of her body frame, coming in at 51 ½ inches long! Barcroft TV spoke with Caroline about her long legs, with the woman explaining that she might reach out to the Guinness Book of World Records to see if she could beat the record for the longest legs, most recently recognized in 2003 as a Russian woman whose legs measured 51.9 inches. The picture is below:

Caroline noted: “I believe that they are definitely the longest in Australia and, as far as I know, in America too.” She added: “Because it’s so close I think it is worth contacting them and finding out exactly where they measure from and getting an official, accurate measurement done.” Naturally, her size has presented a number of challenges for Caroline, most notably finding clothes that fit, specifically jeans and pants. She has to buy them for their length and not the waist size just so the material covers her legs. Her husband Cameron is about the same height as her and their children are also tall, with son Cooper, 13, already at mom’s height, and daughter Zoe, 15, measuring 5-foot-9. Interestingly, Caroline’s own mother is only 5-foot-3. Caroline admits that her size sometimes made it difficult for her as a child, as she was teased and called “Caroline the Powerline.” She didn’t feel attractive, but went on to become a model at the age of 15, when she realized her legs, looks, and height were amazing attributes.

Caroline Arthur stands 186 centimetres tall (6ft 2in) but her legs measure 131.6 centimetres from hip to heel taking up 69 per cent of her body

She explained: “I just wanted to be the same as everyone else. I started modeling when I was around 15 and that gave me confidence.” Caroline added that sometimes her legs got her jobs and other times, it worked against her, explaining: “I was told that I’m too tall for Australian beauty standards and couldn’t model clothes because they just wouldn’t fit me. So as much as I did get work because of my long legs, I also got knocked back for the same reason.” She noted that people staring at her long legs has been mostly a positive experience, sharing: “I just know by now that if I’m going out with people in the evening, I’m going to get a lot of attention so I am sort of used to it. I have had a few people say nasty things but mostly it’s great and people are really nice.”

Caroline has definitely become more comfortable with her long legs, noting: “I can honestly say now, as a 39-year-old woman, I’m the most secure in my own skin that I have ever been. I feel more beautiful than I ever have in my life.” Her husband added: “Caroline and I are about the same height but when we stand next to each other, her hip is much higher than mine. Being married to her is definitely good for my posture because I have to stand up straight.”

Ms Arthur said the biggest challenge for her was trying to find clothes that fitted her frame but that she no longer had  this issue because of new online retailers
